Real Education. Lasting Impact. Statewide Reach.

PhotoCON Hawai‘i is an educational program operated in furtherance of the Noyle Foundation’s charitable mission delivering hands-on creative education where it is needed most.

A Direct Investment in Hawai‘i’s Creative Future

A donation to the Noyle Foundation funds practical, career-relevant education that strengthens students, educators, and communities across the islands.

The 6th Annual PhotoCON Hawai‘i (September 24–27, 2026) In partnership with Capitol Modern – Hawai‘i State Art Museum and the Historic Hawai‘i Foundation, will honor the past, capture the present, and inspire Hawai‘i’s creative future through immersive education and community engagement.

What Makes Our Work Different

The Noyle Foundation does not offer one-size-fits-all programming.

We collaborate directly with creative arts educators on each island to identify the skills their students want and need to learn. Based on that input, we deploy a PhotoCON Hawai‘i Creative Team tailored to each school or community.

Instruction May Include:

  • Photography (fashion, people, food, wildlife, water, astrophotography)
  • Videography
  • Drone imaging
  • Post-production
  • Creative and emerging technologies

What Your Donation Supports

Working professionals teaching real-world creative skills

Workshops shaped by educator input, not imposed curricula

Workforce-relevant instruction using current tools and practices

Access for students who may not otherwise be exposed to creative careers

This is not a passive gift. It is education delivered where it matters most.

Statewide & Long-Term Impact

Flexible, Needs-Based Scheduling

Programs are structured around school and community needs and typically include:

  • One, two, or three one-hour creative workshops
    or
  • One keynote presentation plus two one-hour sessions

Unless otherwise designated by the donor, contributions support:

  • Day 1: School workshops at one or two Hilo schools
